"Pretty
Woman" rappresenta la prostituta più bella e affascinante del grande
schermo, Irma la dolce è certamente la più romantica e affettuosa
corpivendola della storia del teatro. Se ad innamorarsi della prima è
un ricco e senza scrupoli uomo d'affari, alla seconda invece tocca un giovane
ed intraprendente studente. Se il miliardario americano si trasforma per
amore da freddo distruttore d'aziende a imprenditore, l'intraprendente
studente francese pur d'averla solo per sé impersona un ricco lord
inglese.
Due donne quindi in grado
di far dimenticare agli amati la loro "professione".
A portare in scena il musical
di Alexandre Breffort e Marguerite Monnot è il Teatro Stabile del
Friuli-Venezia Giulia.
Lo spettacolo, che ha debuttato
nel maggio scorso al Politeama Rossetti di Trieste dopo le rappresentazioni
al teatro Manzoni di Milano, proseguirà in vari teatri tra i quali
il Sistina di Roma, il Diana di Napoli, l'Alfieri di Torino ed il Politeama
di Genova.
A vestire i succinti panni
di Irma è Daniela Giovannetti, mentre Fabio Camilli è
Nestore Cupidu, ovvero il giovane innamorato .
Del ricco cast, che comprende
undici attori, ballerini, cantanti, fa parte anche Gian, il popolare comico
di tanti programmi televisivi, che qui interpreta la parte del saccente
barista Bob.
Come ogni musical che si
rispetti le musiche, curate da Germano Mazzocchetti, sono eseguite dal
vivo da un orchestra di cinque elementi diretta dal maestro Pino Iodice.
Curata nei minimi particolari
questa edizione di "Irma la dolce" non è destinata certamente a
raggiungere il successo di Pretty Woman, né a competere con la versione
cinematografica per la regia di Billy Wilder e con due mostri sacri quali
Shirley McLaine e Jack Lemmon, tuttavia permette di passare un po' di tempo
in allegria.

represents the most beautiful and charming prostitute of the movies, "Irma
la dolce" unquestionably is the most romantic and affectionate "body seller"
in the history of the theatre.
If a rich and unprincipled
business man falls in love with the first, the latter is loved by a young
and resourceful student.
If love turns an American
billionaire from a man who coldly dissolves companies into an entrepreneur,
a warm French student plays a rich English lord just to have his woman
all for himself.
Two women, then, who manage
to make their lovers forget their "profession".
Alexandre Breffort and Marguerite
Monnot's musical will be staged by the repertory company of Friuli-Venezia
Giulia.
The show that made its debut
last May at Trieste's Politeama Rossetti after being staged at the Manzoni's
theatre in Milan, will continue to be played in various theatres, among
whom Rome's Sistina, Naple's Diana, Turin's Alfieri and Genoa's Politeama.
The scantily dressed Irma
is Played by Daniela Giovannetti, while Nestore Cupidu, or the young lover,
is played by Fabio Camilli. The rich cast includes eleven singing and dancing
actors also presents Gian, the popular comedian who did a large number
of TV shows, and who plays the role of the conceited barman Bob. Like all
respectable musicals, the music by Germano Mazzocchetti is played live
by a five-element orchestra conducted by Pino Iodice.
It is certain that this
painstaking production of "Irma la dolce" will neither be as successful
as "Pretty Woman", nor will compete with the movie that Billy Wilder directed
with mithical actors Shirley McLaine and Jack Lemmon, but it will certainly
allow people to spend some time cheerfully.
