e radiologistsWho remembers the "dab soles"? They were all the rage
till around the end of the seventieth, then disappeared: replaced by
the far less propagandised "flounders".They were introduced as "soles,
and furthermore as dab", instead they were neither soles.The dab is
a pleuronettide, but it has neither the trading nor the gastronomic
rank of the sole.It seems that radiologists must undergo a luck alike
"with some further words on the label".When the Health Minister decided,
rightly, to replace the old denomination of "Radiology" into the more
modern and medical "Radiodiagnostics", this term was already in use
in the universities of Genoa, Messina and L'Aquila.But by the chance
of a competition for radio diagnostic managers, the IV office of the
ministry sent a note (to the rectors of the three controversial incriminated
universities, and other "co-defendants") invalidating by now the specialization
in "Radio diagnostics and science of images" over years in possession
of physicians that obtained it in those medicine faculties.Well then:
logic would imply that the Ministry, aware of having forgotten to list-in
this denomination already in use in the Genoa, Messina and L'Aquila
Universities, put a remedy to its forgetfulness or, to be pedantic,
would require the universities to uniform themselves to the other ones
(!!!).Bureaucracy applies instead the rule of "Ipse/a non dixit", and
so those specialist physicians find themselves as pseudo-specialists.
Suddenly thanks to the Rosy's wooden wand they finds themselves professionally
illegal, and they can neither take part in competitions nor mature seniority,
or be covered by insurances for professional risks, the less propose
themselves European level: "they don't fit the union directives".With
the detail that the sole is not a dab, as the dab is not a sole.But
in medicine, Radio diagnostics is the main science of images: does the
all rosy ministry know it?Malicious could think that, since the "compromise
agreement" arose from that competition, to which radio diagnostics physicians
working at the International Evangelic Hospital in Genoa took part,
the matter concerned first of all faith and clique: may a radiologist
deserve trust if relying on Pastors and it's not consecrated to communion?
Then Liberation is looked for through the bureaucratic quibbles.How
is brightly transparent the Radiology/Radio diagnostics...
