The
infiltrating Lobular breast Carcinoma is known to cause diagnostic
and staging difficulties both clinically and radiologically, owing
to its distinctive histology and growth modality. By retrospectively
reviewing 27 MR breast tests carried out on patients suffering from
Lobular Carcinoma which had already been histologically ascertained,
the author concluded that the MR methodology displays greater accuracy
in the diagnosis and staging of a neoplastic histotype.
