The United Kingdom opens to the embryo research. United States gather. The debate covers all Europe. The Pope takes up position.

Pros and cons in plenty. At the Stock Exchange there’s who has already acquired securities of corporations deemed as the beneficiaries of these scientific “openings”.

“Il Giornale” on August headlined: “Piazza Affari celebrates the Clinton effect over Biotech. Biosearch, Esaote and Schiapparelli over for bull”.

On July 31st the Biosearch security was quoted L. 109.922, on August 30th L. 126.826; in the same period Schiapparelli climbed from L. 372 to L. 406 and Esaote from L. 7629 to L. 8154.

The carelessness of extempore and amateurish pseudo - gamblers dominates. The activity of the Bioserch (cfr. our records “Biosearch Italia S.p.A.: its charm is in its name “) cannot and won’t get any benefit from the biotechnology research, which it does not aim at and it wants to keep unrelated to at all.

Its next future strongly depends on achieving, as soon as possible, the authorizations to trade two antibiotics set in its laboratories.

Schiapparelli, after an unbelievable number of reorganizations, has abandoned the pharmaceutical sector and has focused over his own core - business in the cosmetics and biologic food.

The Esaote is skilled in planning and building electromedical devices especially related with cardiosurgery diagnostic equipments.

The uncontrolled affectiveness risks to involve other gold-diggers that hunting “embryos at the Stock Exchange" venture in securities of corporations of which they ignore the activity.
