"Contempo 2000, one year of geriatrics" is a congress aiming to provide
specialists with a survey on some of pathologies affecting elders.
Actually the steady increase of elderly population has consequences
on social costs which public health care must face, year after year.
Congress will be held in Milan (December 14-16, 2000) and directed by
Prof. Marco Trabucchi, teaching neuropsychopharmacology at Tor Vergata
University, Rome.

OSTEOPOROSIS
Rome, 15-16 december 2000
A
residential course on "Multidisciplinary approach to the study of osteoporosis"
will be held (December 15-16, 2000) at Hotel Albani, Rome. It is organized
by Dept. of Clinical Sciences of La Sapienza University and aims to
provide specialists with updated information on a disease, osteoporosis,
affecting in particular elderly women.
Course will be divided in three scientific sessions: physiopathology,
clinics and diagnostics, therapy.

CARDIOLOGY Rome, 16-20 december 2000 he annual congress of Italian Society
of Cardiology will be hosted by Cavalieri Hilton Hotel of Rome (December
16-20, 2000).

arrythmia, molecular cardiology, teaching and communication, cardiac
surgery, risk factors and prevention…

ONCOLOGY
Milan, 18-19 december 2000 "Grandangolo 200, one year of oncology" will
be held in Milan (December 18-19, 2000).

meeting proposes to specialists an analysis of results emerging from
