CURRICULUM
VITAE
Emanuele Galante Born at Rome in 1950; he took a degree in Medicine
and Surgery at the La Sapienza University of Rome, where he also took
the speciality in Clinic Oncology and later in Clinic and Laboratory
haematology. He has been university assistant and internal physician
at the Cancer Prevention Centre of the University of Rome. He did his
hospital training at the Regina Elena Institute Oncology Ward, at the
Pre-Observation Service and then at the II Medical Oncology (1980-1981).
He
achieved the Diploma of Mastologist of the Italian Mastology School
of the Cancer Institute of Milan and since 1985 he belongs to the Breast
Tumour National Operative Force.
From
1984 to 1986 he collaborated with the Physiology Institute of the University
of Padua and he worked at the project regarding the study of P vitamin
factors derivatives and the acetyl-choline dependent vascular structures
(I Medical Clinic of the same university).From 1988 to 1992 he attended
the Oncology Ward of the San Filippo Neri.
Hospital,
since 1984 he has been working at the General Medicine Ward at Cerveteri
and he is the Fiduciary Doctor of the Minister of Health for sailors
assistance. From 1993 he collaborates with the Oncology Ward of the
San Giovanni - Addolorata Hospital Firm.
He's
author of many articles issued by foreign and Italian reviews.
He
belongs to the follow scientific Societies: Associazione Italiana diOncologia
Medica (Italian Medical Oncology Association), European Society of Mastology,
European Society of Gynaecological Oncology, European Society of Haematology,
European Cancer Prevention Organization, New York Academy of Sciences,
Società Italiana di Senologia , Società Italiana di Flebologia, Gruppo
Italiano per le emergenze Cardiologiche.
