Laura Borelli

I have to start from a distant time, when as a young promising artist exhibited her graphics and her oil-paintings, such full of mysterious atmospheres, in many prizes, competitions and galleries. Always successful.
Atmospheres that I've founded again during the creation time stressed by the interesting and

evocative researches of the artist.
Borelli indeed does not allow anything to easy. Her works, passing through the years, 'purify themselves' till getting that creative purity that is on the border of poetry. So it's easy to think that in the figures she creates incredible is 'the light' that enters colour and makes it magic. Vibrations that by her inborn skill we founded again even in graphics (e.g. Paesaggio Carsico).
Sometimes, coming back to her painting, I think something of the magic atmosphere of Padova and the Venetian light enters her works. I'd remember 'Spring 2'.

Even when she tries through 'titles' a connection to reality (Red Flower, Sea Flowers, Shells), Laura creates a poetic figure where all could be imagined, dreamt. These are the magic moments that painting manages to communicate and it's the real power of a creativity that make a real artist.
As it could be understood, a part from knowing very well this painter, I can confirm her seriousness and her love for art. She began between '63 and '66, succeeding in a short time to have the attention of critics and estimators. She exhibited in Italy and foreign countries.

Laura Borelli was born in Bolzano, studied at Art Institute in Padova (where she lives and works), she got a degree at Fine Arts Academy in Venice with famous Cesetti.
