Antonio Teruzzi
It has just closed the exhibition of the Lombard artist Antonio Teruzzi at the Modarte of Milan, entitled “From breeze to trace ”,  and the artist has left not only the public but also the art critics, acutely and kindly surprised.
It must be very convenient to clear that Antonio Teruzzi born in Brugherio 1945 is the most surprisingly active and attentive to the new contemporaneous painting among the young; he has breathed at all the Lombard air made of faint lights memories, light traces, atmospheres, the same that already were in his paintings through he was present at the Annunciata Gallery of Milan, in Manzoni street, a top historical gallery, attentive to informal image and to atmosphere. By this time he was introduced by the art critic and poet Roberto Sanesi who first tracked down in those gleams and figures which, almost haven't any body so much they were plunged in a fluid of fogs and lights, perceiving between a new representation and an informal signal, the whole Lombard soul of who, grown in those breathed airs in the Po Valley among the lakes and the far mountains, has reached colour nuances going from the milk white to blue and soft yellows.
Really this painting, made of material and light has  supported itself on the poets call, since ever met.
As the Eighty passed, when Teruzzi made the art critics pay attention to him, his work has gone on investigating; as he retires from image he wanted to express the space of man, the finite and infinite spaces, from the glades and camps as far as skies and firmaments, stars, up to limits and horizons.
The material, at this point, oil painting or fresco, becomes a kind of writing, signals, traces, points, places, lines which border camps; but those signals which rise to surface among a clearness made of whites and darkness made of blacks.
Sanesi talk about by this time of “places of light ”, while we have recently expressed this change “from breeze to trace ”, that means the breeze as a lightly perception, an impalpable place, an absolute light and trace, like tallow, window, opening.
Teruzzi proofs he is more a man than a thinking, man of sanctions and strong sensibility, able to perceive anything round himself as a mean of creation and cosmic pulsation. The heaven and earth paths have been crossed by an absolute colour abstractism, made of perceptions, grammings, thought experiences rather than lived ones.
Teruzzi has reached this manner the colour of a deep maturity that places him among the painters the most interesting of the Italian and Lombard general view. The colours of his Lombardy are the same colours of soul, the same breath of his history which is already present in important collections.
In those Ninety years the success reached him as a strong wind, from the Biella International Award in 1990, to the Museo Alternativo of Remo Brindisi in Lido di Spina, up to the most recent exhibition “Vergine Madre Regina” at MIMAC, with a work for the Contemporaneous Art International Marian Museum of Monsignor Tonino Bello Foundation in Alessano -Lecce, charismatic representative of the Italian Church and President of the Italian Pax Christi, attended by us in collaboration with Prof. Donato Valli, the former headmaster of the University of Lecce.
Here is a path of presence and works the Italian artist has already done and further it is already planned a program of international rendezvous.
