| The
reopening of the Houses of Parliament finds the problems, posponed because
of the summer break, all of them still to resolve, supposing the actual
Italian political situation will allow resolving them.
Priority the South problem, which have become a time bomb that can burst in any moment. The anachronistic fact is that the majority parties attack the government they support. About the employ problem the tenseness rises, the CISL, the trade union related to the PPI, threatens a general strike, the opposition announces demonstrations. This way it starts the hot autumn. Climatic seasons can vary, but the politic climate keeps unchanged during time. Only for the Prime Minister the weather turns always to good. |
Another
conflict reason is the requirement of the opposition and also some sectors
of the majority to institute a board to inquire the magistracy work
done within the Tangentopoli inquiry. In addition to this confusional condition
the declarations of President Scalfaro, wrongly o rightly defended by the
Ulivo, and attacked because of his manifestations, deemed illegitimate,
according to the Constitution, by the Polo.
Regarding the Health, the provisions presented by the Minister and being examined by the parliamentary board, are stirring up a hornet's nest. Everybody is discontented, nobody excepted.  |
