| The attention of the international press keeps
on zeroing in on the Ocalan's matter and his stay in
Italy. Solutions proposed by the Italian government are each time rejected by the involved countries: Germany, Holland, France etc. It works no wonder since the Ocalan's presence represents for everybody a time-bomb. Neither the hypothesis of an international court is viable in short terms, being not in the EU an organism able to get the responsibility of a trial for massacre. Turkey, on its side, has requested the extradition and does not accept the Italian government thesis about the death penalty that does not allow to transfer Ocalan to his native country. As regards to the internal politics, it's happening exactly what had already happened with the Prodi's government. |
Tensions within the majority are
already known by 'almost' all Italians, unless the Premier asserts the
opposite, as his predecessor, he keeps on saying government is steady,
even if under his chair are exploding continuously the crackers normally
used at Carnival. It's anachronistic this unsteady firmness. Problems at item are the underlying and principle questions, the contending groups more than not wanting, cannot give up at all. Within all this bailamme the financial law has been passed and so it has been approved the National Health Plan. The measures applied are conflicting but they show a clear political line that certainly is not directed to supply citizens an effective and competent assistance. ![]() |
