“Regional therapy of hepatocellular carcinomas” (March 31, 2001). Course
will provide participants with updated information on new techniques
treating these pathologies: indications, benefits and limits of each

Symposium on PPPARs

The
Palazzo dei Congressi of Florence will host (April 4-7, 2001) the first
international symposium on “PPPARs: from basic science to clinical applications”.
One decade after the cloning of the first Peroxisome Proliferator-Activated
Receptor, the PPARs attract great attention in consideration of the
wide spectrum of genes of biological and medical relevance identified
to be under their control. Aim of the symposium is provide participants
with an update on the latest aspects of basic research and of clinical
applications of PPPAr ligands.
