Born
in Milan in 1938, Dott. Adalberto Sessa graduated in Medicine and
Surgery at Milan University in 1963. He subsequently specialised in
Internal Medicine and Cardiology. His clinic and scientific training
took place at the Milan School of Prof. Guido Melli, under the direction
of Prof. Giuseppe Folli. He specialised in Medical Nephrology and
Teaching Methodologies at the Turin University School run by Prof.
Antonio Vercellone. Since 1979 he has been the head of the Nephrology
and Dialysis Operational Unit of Vimercate Hospital, having previously
been assistant at the Nephrology and Dialysis Division of the San
Carlo Borromeo Hospital in Milan. His scientific output, which mainly
relates to the ultrastructural aspects of kidney diseases, was published
by prestigious international magazines. He has taken part as a speaker
or as a moderator in numerous scientific conferences, both national
and international. |
