In sostituzione dei due impianti osteointegrati caduti ne sono stati
immessi altri tradizionali (vedere frecce) e cioè viti autofilettanti
di Garbaccio e aghi di Scialom. Le parti emergenti dalla gengiva,
sia degli impianti rimasti che i nuovi inseriti, sono state fra loro
unite con fili di titanio posti orizzontalmente ed elettrosaldati
alle stesse con sincristallizzatrice di Mondani. In tal modo si sono
immobilizzati anche gli impianti rimasti. Si è provveduto inoltre
a completare, sempre con impianti tradizionali tutta l’arcata, sia
nella parte incisale che nella laterale sinistra (riferendosi al paziente),
ove i denti rimasti, seppur ricoperti in parte da corone e ponti (vedere
figura n° 1), stavano fuoriuscendo. Sulla struttura emergente dalla
gengiva, in tal modo realizzata, verranno fissati i denti artificiali.

X-ray of the operation that has been carried out. To replace the two
osteointegrated implants lost, traditional ones have been inserted
(see arrows), that is Garbaccio drive screws and Scialom needles.
The parts of the implants (of both the original ones and the ones
which had been newly inserted) emerging from the gums have been joint
together by means of titanium filaments placed along such parts and
arc welded to them by means of a Mondani “syncrystallizer”. In this
way, the original implants have also been immobilised. Furthermore,
the whole dental arch has been completed, again with traditional implants,
both in the incisal and in the (patient’s) left-hand side, where the
remaining teeth, even though partly covered by crowns and bridges
(see picture no. 1), were coming out. On the structure emerging from
the gums, constructed in this manner, the artificial teeth will be
fixed.
