Publications
Main
research fields:
-Application
of Percolation theory to the design of Controlled Release Systems. Interesting
findings in this field were the influence of the relative particle size on
the percolation threshold as well as the influence of the compaction method.
-Preformulation studies (including stability studies). Development of Chromatographic
and Conductometric analytical methods. Study of degradation mechanisms. The
most important results have been published in 54 research papers in different
scientific journals including those having a higher impact in the area of
pharmaceutics: Pharmaceutical Research, Journal of Controlled Release, Journal
of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Journal of Pharmacy and Pharmacology, International
Journal of Pharmaceutics, Journal of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Analysis,
European Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, etc. Other results have been
published in more than fifty Proceedings or Communications to Congresses.
