- Rector of the Provincial University of Mar del Plata from 14 Jan. 1972 to 23 Aug. 1972.
- Full Professor, with exclusive assignment, holding the chair of Human Biology of the National University of Mar del Plata, following competitive examination (based on candidates’ publications and academic record), as from 1987, in office.
- Director of the Bioethics Research Group, Human Genetics and Health, of the Faculty of Psychology, National University of Mar del Plata.
- Coordinator of the UNdMP Bioethics Interdisciplinary Theme Programme since 1990, in office
- Academic Director of the UNdMP Postgraduate Course of Bioethics, employed by the Faculties of Psychology, Law and Health Sciences, as from 1996
- President of the Human Genetics Association (AGHU) of Mar del Plata, as from 1989, in office.
- Founder-Director of the Institute of Genetics of the Human Genetics Association of M. Plata as from 1981 (year in which it was founded), currently in office.
- Founder-Director of the Journal Genes. Popular scientific magazine of the Human Genetics Association of Mar del Plata.

- He has received 11 local Prizes and Awards, granted by public and private bodies in recognition of his scientific and community work.
