Giango de Julio
That in America the ice skating has more followers than in Italy there's not a shadow
of doubt. This sport has indeed many fans in the States, as well as all ice spectacles that are followed very much. The television channels themselves compete to be awarded with the most important events dues and live broadcast. In Italy this sport does not have as much success, even if every year a lot of spectators watch the most classic of the events: the “Holiday on Ice”. Just from America and for the first time in our country it arrives the Paradise on Ice - now staged at Smeraldo Theatre of Milan - a new musical, whose representation is not carried out inside a really not comfortable shed as usual, but inside a theatre.
Built for the sumptuous stage of the Paradise Hotel of Las Vegas, where it has met an outstanding success, the show has been on tour in Europe already over a year. The company is formed by thirty-two artists among which 14 dancer, 2 solos, 5 boys and stars as Yves Danton and Marianne Deguilly, artistic skiing artists; Carl Briggs and Anney Williams, acrobatic skiing champions and others. Even for whom as us is not a fan of this kind of spectacles, nevertheless it's impossible not to be charmed by the elegance in dancing of these artists and the beauty of choreography, not to tell about the peculiarity of seeing a theatre set transformed in a sheet of ice.
