Having wanting vengeance
for more than two months; since an inaccurate training has cost her the
US Open final and the first world title, Martina Hingis had been chasing
this match , since Lindsay Davenport has crowned a splendid run-up with
a technical- tactical change, becoming the female world tennis number one.
The young Swiss has been waiting to meet Lindsay as soon as possible, to
settle the scores out of the numbers of the results. The day before the
Masters of New York, the final event of the season when the best 16 ranking
